Accommodative Practice Solutions
offers the Choices Turn Key Aesthetics system. It has been
designed specifically for the physician to utilize existing
space and staff. The System includes:
The Choices Intense Pulsed Light unit by Novalis Medical. This very sophisticated form of IPL utilizes a unique and proprietary light source that is much more effective, safe and less painful than any of the competing IPL units all of which Xenon arc light sources. It is an FDA approved product. It allows the treating person to verify what the result will be at the time of treatment and allow retreatment on the same day if certain parameters are not met. It is very easy to use and simple and economical to maintain. It operates on ordinary 110V power and requires no physical plant modification. It includes hand pieces for:
• Hair removal 630-1200 nM
• Vessel reduction 500-610 and 740-1200 nM
• Skin Rejuvenation 510-1200 nM
• Skin Tightening 750-1150 nM
The Choices Light Emitting Diode unit by Omnilux. Light Emitting Diodes of true therapeutic value are fairly new to the marketplace. They need to meet certain technical specifications to be effective in skin rejuvenation but when those specifications are met they offer a completely safe and painless option for skin rejuvenation as a standalone product. The Choices unit has red and infrared heads and has specific, preferred wavelengths in excess of 100 Joules and is clinically effective.LED treatment is also a valuable adjunct to skin rejuvenation by stimulating mitochondrial DNA to resume normal call function. This allows both a freestanding procedure and a unique approach to skin rejuvenation.
A Profect Digital imaging unit. For quality assurance and demonstration of effect of treatment a digital imaging unit is essential. This unit has a standardized light source to allow comparison of photos from one visit to the next and store them for comparison on a laptop with unique software. Images can be taken in both daylight and Ultraviolet. The camera used is a Canon PowerShot S3 1S tethered to a laptop by a UBS cable.
The Choices Wizard which allow the user to continuously monitor the output of the Clareon unit. This has nomograms that are specific to this Clareon unit.
An infrared thermometer to monitor changes in skin temperature.
Education in your office. The category of person to be trained depends on state law but the FDA does allow relegation of the use of the technology to non physician personnel. This is a 2 day process with a physician educator and includes
